Cardiology APP Needed in NC (will license)

Location: High Point

Start: January

13 week assignment with the option to extend

Coverage Type: inpatient and OR

• Schedule Details: minimum 2 weekends per month Friday 5pm-Monday 8am. (If they want increased hours they can work weekdays doing 12 hour shifts)

Work Details:
• Support staff: 5 MDs, 3 APPs
• Facility Type: hospital
• Practice Setting: managing inpatient and OR
• EMR/Charting Software: epic
• Patient Age Group: adults
Procedures:
• Managing inpatient and OR. Primary need is weekend coverage. About 6 hours spent to round on cardiac post op patients (remove chest tubes and pacing wires), cardiac and thoracic pre and post op care, discharge patients, patient education, prepare patients for surgery (place orders, patient education), attend to new consults, ED consults, answer patient calls, and instill medications into chest tubes.

Requirements:
• Board Certifications Req’d
• State License(s): NC
• Certifications: ACLS
• Years of Experience Req’d: 3 years experience in Cardiac and Thoracic surgery

Credentialing Timeframe: About 60-90 days
