Location: East Iowa, Located 50 minutes from the Quad Cities, an hour from Dubuque, just under 3 hours from Chicago, 1.5 hours from Cedar Rapids and 3 hours from Des Moines Facility: A faith-based, full-service community health system serving residents in eastern Iowa and northwestern Illinois. Provides a broad range of services to meet the health care needs of residents in the bi-state area. Operates 163 licensed beds Opportunity: April 22-26 April 29 - May 3 Ongoing dates TBD No weekends, no call! 100% Outpatient coverage, addressing critical labs (hospitalists manage inpatients) Patient population; adult and geriatric 70% oncology, 30% hematology, 0% IM 20 patients per day Trauma level 3 EMR: Cerner (Epic FY24) Required procedures: management of VAD/CV catheters, order tests, order images, prescribe meds Administration of chemotherapy: nurse oncologist; Admission of patients: Hospitalists Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
