Travel and lodging available
Hospitalist leads a collaborative and comprehensive health care team
Only follow patients from a single payor system
100% of patients will have a WellMed primary care provider
“Quality vs. Quantity Model” – Typical census per hospitalist is 15 to 18 patients per day
Patient panel is limited to geriatrics with Medicare Advantage coverage
ACLS and BLS required
7 on 7 off
7a-7p
Will see primarily over 65 years of age, geriatric population
15 patients per day
Great support staff at hospital and patient navigator plus administrator for support
EMR is MediTech
Valid DEA license
Ability to work 12-hour days on a regular basis
Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role.
Background Screening and drug test required prior to start according to locum vendor contract, administered by locum agency
