Location: A popular resort city in New Jersey known for its vibrant boardwalk, casinos, and entertainment options. It's located on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean and is famous for its long sandy beaches and iconic Boardwalk. Facility: Medical center offering a variety of services. Opportunity: Looking for a Locum Hematology-Oncology Physician to provide coverage at two locations Inpatient consultative services across 2 hospitals 10 miles apart Dates of coverage: 1 week (7 days Mon-Sun) per month from January through July Patient population: Adult and Geriatric Practice distribution: 49% hematology, 51% oncology 5.6 physicians in the practice Radiation Oncologist available at EHT Cancer Center for case discussions 8 APPs providing coverage - Monday to Friday, an inpatient NP will assist the 1 with notes, orders, and staff communication Average outpatient (clinic/office) patient load: 45 per day Average hospital patient load: 8 per day (5 consults, 3 follow-ups) Clinical areas: Oncology and Hematology in an inpatient setting Hospital trauma level: Atlantic City - Level 1 EMR system: Cerner Required procedures: Inpatient consultative services Compensation: Competitive weekly pay and malpractice included
