Job Title: Hematology/Oncology Physician (MD)
Location: Kentucky (or IMLC eligible)
Start Date: January 13, 2025
Contract Length: Ongoing
Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week (100% outpatient clinic)
Schedule: Monday - Friday (part-time options may be considered with at least two weeks per month)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a board-certified Hematology/Oncology Physician (MD) for an outpatient clinic in Kentucky. This role focuses primarily on oncology, with some hematology cases. The physician will work alongside a dedicated support team, including another physician and two advanced practice providers (APPs), to deliver high-quality patient care in a supportive clinic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of 14-16 patients per day, primarily aged 40-70
Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, and provide consultative support
Opportunity to work primarily in an outpatient setting, with the potential for some patient consults over time
Utilize the Meditech EMR system for documentation and patient management

Support Staff:
1 experienced physician (available 3-4 days per week)
2 APPs (1 experienced, 1 newer to oncology)

Requirements:
Board Certification: Required in Hematology/Oncology
License: KY state license or IMLC eligibility
DEA: Required
Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in outpatient oncology or hematology/oncology
Patient Population:
Adults only, primarily ages 40-70
Practice Setting:
Outpatient Clinic

Credentialing: 2-3 weeks for temporary privileges (if history is clean and licensed under IMLC)
