About the clinician's workday

The locum will interact with our infusion center charge nurse to address any questions regarding labs and treatments. The clinic operates from 8 AM to 4 PM, with the locum also being on call for ONC/HEM consults. The locum will handle cases of acute leukemia and malignant hematology. They will be required to see new patient ONC/HEM referrals. New patients are admitted by a hospitalist, and the locum will be consulted to see these patients in the hospital inpatient setting and initiate transfers if needed.
