Location- Hartford, Connecticut, is the state capital and has a rich history as one of the oldest cities in the United States. It’s known for its insurance industry, earning the nickname "Insurance Capital of the World." Hartford is home to several cultural attractions, including the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art, the Mark Twain House, and the Connecticut Science Center. The city also has beautiful parks, like Bushnell Park, and a vibrant downtown area Organization- Hartford Hospital is a major teaching hospital located in Hartford, Connecticut. Opportunity- Looking for a Specialty Gyn/Onc and/or Med ONC with specialization in Gynecologic malignancies. We are more in need of someone to help with pre-chemotherapy visits and surveillance visits in the office; surgery could be helpful but is not necessary. Will need someone ASAP through September 2025 due to a FTE resignation. Week night call 1-2/per week (usually phone only, rarely in person). Weekend Call 1 in 3 (can be flexible on this if an issue. 5 other physicians in the group - all give chemotherapy and operate. 3 APP outpatient who do pre chemo visits, minor procedures, cancer surveillance visits, 2 APP inpatient at HH. Patients per day - 12-16 in office, 2-3 per day in surgery. Must have Chemotherapy and immunotherapy proficiency. Gyn Onc or Med Onc Fellowship required. CT license or IMLC required. Compensation- Competitive Hourly Rate
