Locum Hematology/Lymphoma Physician needed in Southern CA

Job description

A Cancer Center in southern CA is urgently seeking a highly qualified Locum Hematology/Lymphoma Physician to provide immediate coverage

Responsibilities:
• Provide specialized care in hematology and lymphoma, focusing on adult patients.
• Schedule and manage new patient visits, allocating 1 hour per visit, and handle follow-up visits within 25-30 minutes.
• Work collaboratively with an NP in the clinic setting.
• Coordinate with other Hematology/Oncology physicians managing CLL, acute leukemia, and benign hematology cases.
• Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and management.

Qualifications:
• Board Certification: Required in Hematology/Oncology.
• State License: Required to practice in California.
• Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in Hematology, with specific experience in lymphoma. Candidates with experience in skin lymphoma are highly preferred.
• Skills: Proficiency in managing lymphoma cases, with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care.
