Oncology Physician Assistant Needed in Indianapolis, Indiana

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant with Oncology experience for a full-time position at an outpatient cancer center in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role involves providing comprehensive care to adult patients in a community practice setting. You’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team that includes Patient Support Specialists, MAs, Chemo nurses, Pharm techs, and other APPs. The position requires strong assessment and documentation skills, with independent clinical decision-making and the ability to adapt to physician preferences for care and treatment. You will primarily handle office visits in Oncology and Hematology, and the center is equipped with an in-house infusion center with 17 chairs. EMR charting is done through ONCO, using Dragon or directly into the system via pre-built note templates.

Requirements:

Board Certification: Required (Oncology, Internal Medicine, or Family Practice)
State License: Required
Certifications: BLS required
Credentialing Timeframe: About 30 days
