Job description

We are working with a hospital in southern New Mexico that is looking for a General Surgeon to help with call coverage:

Specialty: General Surgeon
Setting: Inpatient
Start Date: ASAP - ongoing
Requirements: BC GS, NM license, DEA, BLS, ACLS
Pay: $1800/day + $300/hr OT call back after 2 hrs of gratis + travel/lodging + malpractice insurance
Schedule: 24 hr call coverage….specific dates below
Call: yes
Patient Load/Age: 5-10 per shift…Level III ER
Procedures: all general cases (endos required)
EMR: MedHost
COVID vax needed: yes
Credentialing timeframe: 30 – 60 days
