Job Title: Locums Physician- General Surgery
Location: Ottumwa, IA
EMR: MediTech / Athena
Board Status: Certified/Eligible
Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call
Start Date: 09-16-2024
End Date: ongoing
Practice Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient
Patients Per Shift: 20-25 in clinic

Certifications Requirements:
• Active license in IA or IMLC
• ABLS
• ACLS
• BLS

Description/Other Details:
• M-F coverage
• Will involve about 2 days per week of clinic + 10 days of Call coverage
• Provide comprehensive surgical care to patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Perform scheduled clinical hours and take on-call duties as required.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of surgical conditions.
• Conduct pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using MediTech and Athena EMR systems.
