General Surgery Locums Near Chicago (NW Indiana)

Job description

This northwest Indiana hospital is looking for a General Surgery physician for on call coverage in 2025. This is located just an hour from Chicago.

Here's an overview:

-Bread and butter cases. Not a trauma facility. 

-5-10 patients expected per day, with 1-3 admits. Will take phone consults.

-Position consists of 24 hour beeper call.

-Competitive rate plus transportation, lodging provided as needed.

-As of this writing, the open dates go from January through early June 2025.
