A hospital is seeking a general surgeon for locum tenens coverage.
About the facility location
The facility is located in the Western Slope in Colorado.
About the clinician's workday
The clinician will see clinic patients during the week as well as help with call relief. Locums need to have experience with upper and lower endoscopy and DaVinci experience is preferred but not required. GI Bleeds and ERCP are shipped out. This office will sometimes see teen patients as well. The ideal candidate can do 2-4 weeks/month ongoing for 2024. The clinician should have an active CO license or active IMLC and Board Certification is required. This site would be perfect for any outdoor enthusiast!
Additional job details
- Case load/PPD: 20-30/week in clinic and 47 procedures in past 6 weeks and that is a mix of GS and GI (mostly surgeries)
- Support staff: none
- Call ratio/schedule: 1 wknd/month and one weekday per week
- Location type: On-Site
