About the clinician's workday

Duties include Screen patients and performs complete histories and physical examinations, Orders/prescribes necessary medications, laboratory and radiologic studies, routine fluids, diets, patient activities and similar patient care orders, Performs surgical assistant responsibilities to including handling tissue, providing exposure, using instruments, suturing and tying and providing hemostasis, Respond to the Emergency Room to manage and/or assist with trauma resuscitation, Instruct patients on discharge information, home care of wounds, use of medication, diet or other aspects of health care.
