Job Title: Family Practice Physician - Community Health Center
Specialty: Family Practice
Start Date: 7/15/2024
Contract Length: 3 months, with option to extend
Shift Details: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, 40 hours per week (8-hour workday with a 1-hour unpaid lunch)

Work Details:
• Support Staff: Dedicated medical assistant for each provider, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians, onsite pediatrician, and local health care administrator (for submitting timecards)
• Coverage Needed: Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Patients per Day: Up to 21 patients per day; may vary based on cancellations. Must be comfortable with high volume and fast pace.
• Patient Population/Age: Newborns to geriatrics. Must be comfortable working with all ages.
• Department Description: Community Health Center. Experience in similar settings or an interest in working with vulnerable populations is required. Services include care for migrants and refugees, with interpretative services available on-site. Bilingual ability is a plus but not required.
• EMR: EPIC
• Special Procedures: Basic procedures including injections, IUD placement, and minor wound care
• Skills Required: Ability to start immediately with a 1-week orientation and begin patient care by day 3
Practice Setting: Outpatient ambulatory setting - Community Health Center

Travel Logistics:
• Paid Travel: Flight, rental car or mileage, and lodging

Requirements:
• Board Certification: BC or BE
• License: Active WA license required
• DEA: Active WA DEA required
• Certifications: BLS
• Experience: Must have a clean background. No malpractice history will be considered.

Credentialing Timeframe: 2-4 weeks
