Job description

• Austin State Supported Living Center is accepting submissions for the following position at our facility: Physician, Family Medicine.
• Duties of Agency doctor for physician:
o Assist with completing quarterly healthcare assessments such as Interval Medical Reviews.
o Review labs, x-rays, consults, and other diagnostic studies for individuals at RSSLC.
o Provide medical therapies as indicated.
• Job Requirements for all candidates:
o Must be medical license and able to practice in Texas
o Preferable experience working with IDD population.
o Knowledge of Infection Control practices. Infection control experience a plus!
• Starting Feb 2023
• 6 month contract
• All compliance must be met before candidate can start. No exceptions.
• 40-hours/week
• Monday - Friday
• 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (includes unpaid lunch break)
• On call on weekdays and rotating weekends
• No extra time off will be available during the holiday season including Christmas, and New Year’s.
• Must have valid photo ID and current American Heart Association CPR certification
• Must have negative PPD results within last 12 months.
• COVID-19 testing with negative result required (we provide)
• COVID-19 Vaccination Card if applicable.
• Must be able to successfully pass a urine drug screen and background check (you provide)
• Must be able to successfully pass an FBI fingerprint background check (we provide)
