Provide physician service and staff same day clinic, as needed. Provide services in a professional environment while working in harmony with other members of the professional and technical staff.  IHS will have support staff and facilities available in Lab, pharmacy & radiology technicians, RNs, LPNs, admitting staff, social workers/case managers, mental health physician, etc. Complete records within 24 hours of patient visit
The number of patients to be seen shall be no less than an estimated 20 per eight (8) hour work day.
Examine, diagnose, and develop treatment plans and recommendations for patients seen.
Recommend and refer patients to other Indian Health Service providers and Purchase Referred Care vendors within appropriate IHS guidelines.
The physician shall be proficient in electronically documenting services utilizing the appropriate electronic medical record system for patient encounters; complete all required administrative paperwork within 24-hours of patient visit to include electronic consults, co-signatures, completion of chart or Risk Management Reviews, unusual occurrences and peer review, as required.
