Locums NP Needed in NY

Compensation: $85/hr plus malpractice and weekly pay Location: New York, NY Dates needed: January 13th – end of February. Possibly may need longer than 30 days.. Opportunity: This position will work closely with a Medcor employed oversight physician assigned to the site. In this role, you will provide clinical care for all injured and ill patients in the client's workplace clinic. You will practice alongside a team of NPs and PAs as well as Certified Medical Assistants and work in close cooperation with Medcor's operational leadership to ensure optimal clinic operation. You will also have day-to-day administrative and operational oversight for the clinic, including hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, patient flow, and assuring standard operating procedures are followed to provide patient focused outcomes. This position requires a solid working relationship with patients, client representatives, coworkers, and the Medcor team. There are no weekend or on-call hours; however, with advance notice, flexibility for additional hours is preferred as requested by the client. Provide superior clinical care and customer service to Medcor’s client and employees Treat injuries and illnesses following Evidence Based Medicine standards Build and maintain internal team relationships Collaborate with client professionals in health, safety and environmental practices Collaborate with client human resources and benefits professionals on clinical issues Support client’s wellness and preventative programs Document and manage information using state-of-the-art EMR and other tools Patient education regarding medical conditions and treatment options Patient coaching regarding healthy behaviors Requirements: Have a valid unrestricted New York licensure Have current DEA & BLS certifications Have strong computer skills and familiarity with EMR software
