About the clinician's workday

This opportunity involves Monday through Friday GI Lab hours from 8 AM to 4 PM, with call typically running from 5 PM to 5 PM. Daily hospital rounds and consults are required during assigned weeks, with an average of 5-10 inpatient consults per day and approximately 10-14 inpatients seen per day with PA assistance (Monday-Friday). Required procedures include EGDs, colonoscopies, EGD with dilations, PEG placements/changes, and other standard GI procedures, with preference for providers skilled in ERCP. Candidates must hold a current active PA license, be Board Certified or Board Eligible within five years of residency through the American Board of Internal Medicine, Subspecialty of Gastroenterology, and have completed a fellowship.
