Gastroenterologist Needed for locum coverage in Conyers, GA

Start: September

3, Night (12 Hours) 19:00 (Flexible) - 7:00 (Flexible)
Schedule Details
10 blocked days per month, or 5 on/5 off, but must include a weekend.

Inpatient and ER coverage only in house during the day, and on call at night.

Quick Credentialing

• Support staff: 2 fulltime APP support; 1 MD

• Coverage Type: 8 hours spent in house rounding on inpatients each morning for 5 to 6 hours. Staying in house until 5pm in case ER consult is needed. After 5pm-call can be taken from hotel. The provider may get called back 3-5 times per week.

• Schedule Details: 10 blocked days per month or 5on/5off but must include a weekend

Work Details:
• Facility Type: hospital
• EMR/Charting Software: epic
• Patient Age Group: Adult
• Procedures: No advanced procedures. Consults, scopes, emergencies, and other bread and butter GI cases/procedures. Upper and lower endos required

Requirements:
• Board Certifications Req’d
• State License(s): yes and will consider those that are IMLC eligible
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• CSR Req’d: yes
• DEA Req’d?: yes
• Years of Experience Req’d: minimum 3 years experience and possess a skill set to diagnose and treat all endoscopist related illnesses and symptoms

Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days but dept is able to push this file through for a Sept 1 start.

Willing To License?: only if IMLC eligible
