Psychologist - State Psychiatric Facility

Location: Staunton, VA
Type: Fulltime 13-week or 26-week assignment
Shift: Day 8 hour - Monday-Friday, 8:00A-5:00P - 40 hours per week
START DATE: 3-4 weeks due to clearance and onboarding for the DOC

LOCAL PAY:
$100 per hour

TRAVEL PAY:
Up to $4242 weekly gross


Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. or Psy.D in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from a program accredited by the American Psychological Association
License (or license-eligible) to practice clinical psychology in Virginia
Demonstrated experience in applying psychological assessment and intervention methods to individuals with serious mental disorders
Knowledge of serious mental disorders, psychological assessments, and therapeutic interventions
Ability to assess, formulate, and provide interventions for individuals with serious mental disorders
Ability to conduct individual and group psychotherapy
