Family Physician needed in Kent, Washington

Job description

Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Contract Length: 3 months, possibility to extend
Shift Details: 8a-5p, 40hrs/week. 8-hour work day with 1 hour unpaid lunch.
Schedule: Monday-Friday

Work Details:
· Patients per day: Will be scheduled to see up to 21 patients. May be less depending on cancellations, etc, but should be comfortable with higher volume and fast-paced.
· Patient Population/Age: Newborns-Geriatrics. Provider should be comfortable working with all ages.
· EMR: EPIC
· Special Procedures: Basic bread and butter procedures. Injections, IUD placement, minor wound care.
· Skills Required: Expected to hit the ground running. There will be a 1 week ramp-up with onsite orientation but will be expected to begin patient care by day 3. If you speak Spanish that is also a plus.
Practice Setting:
• Outpatient ambulatory setting- Community Health Center

Requirements:
· Board Certification: BC or BE
· License Required: Active WA license required.
· DEA: Active WA DEA required

• Can start as soon as credentialed
• Short credentialing
• 3 months with the possibility to extend
