Family Practice MD needed in Kingston, NY

Job description

• FP (MD) for ASAP/Immediate Start, M-F 9am - 5pm, ongoing Coverage, no call
• BC required- No new grads; if Board Certified with prior Chief Residency or teaching experience; experience strongly preferred
• Open to part-time, or multiple providers, if necessary
• Youngest Patient seen: Newborns and up
• Average # of Patients per day: No direct patient care required
• Duties: “A preceptor is an experienced practitioner who provides supervision during clinical practice and facilitates the application of theory to practice for students and staff learners.” This role is 100% precepting with no direct clinical cases assigned. Will work with three students per morning and per afternoon session; first-third year FM residents. The residents will treat a mix of adults and peds in a busy community health center. The OB portion includes providing pre and post-natal care and Peds includes sick and well visits, newborns to 18 year-olds.
