2 FP Outpatient Physicians Needed in Carson, CA

New office opening in August

.Schedule is M-F (8-5) and first patient appts are at 9am and last is 4-4:30p – they need coverage from August through October.

JOB DETAILS:
• Specialty/Unit/Profession: FP Outpatient (FT, Local Preferred)
• Target Start Date: 08/05/2024 - Let’s call it 8/1/2024 since we need them to do required training before they start seeing patients (Epic, compliance, anti-harassment, HIPAA)
• Duration of contract: August – October (8 Weeks)
• Practice Setting: Outpatient

• Coverage & Call Reqs: None
• Chartung Software: Epic
• Ave. Daily Census: 18-20
• Pateint Age Group: Needs to be Family Medicine, so all ages
• Procedures (if applicable): Great if they can do common outpatient FM procedures (biopsies, sutures, etc.)
• Equipment: Normal equipment found in a primary care outpatient office.
• Board Certifications: Preferred but not required
• License Certifications: Must have unrestricted CA medical license, DEA certificate, BLS or ACLS
• State License: CA Required
• CSR: Must have a DEA
• DEA: Must have a DEA
• Years of Exp. Required: Must have at least 2 years of outpatient primary care experience
• Charting Exp. Required: Epic experience strongly preferred
• Support Staff: Yes, there is support staff (practice manager, front office supervisor, medical assistants, patient care associates, etc. They will not have to supervise any staff.
