Family Practice NP needed in WA!

Job description

-Specialty: Family Practice
-Start Date: As soon as cred.
-Contract Length: 3 mon, possibility to extend
-Shift Details: 8a-5p, 40hrs/wk. 8 hr work day with 1 hr unpaid lunch.
-Schedule: Monday-Friday
-Work Details:
· Support Staff: Dedicated medical assistant for each provider, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians, most clinics have an onsite pediatrician and local health care administrator they will submit timecards to.
· Coverage Needed: FT. 40hrs/wk.
· Patients per day: Sched to see up to 18 patients. Depends on cancellations, etc., but should be comfortable with higher volume and fast paced.
· Patient Population/Age: Newborns-Geriatrics. Provider should be comfortable with all ages.
· Department Description: Community Health Center. Providers must have experience in these settings or express interest to work with vulnerable populations. They service migrants and refugees and have interpretative services available on site. Bilingual is a plus.
· EMR: EPIC
· Special Procedures: Basic bread and butter procedures. Injections, IUD placement, minor wound care.
· Skills Required: Expected to hit ground running. Will be a 1 wk ramp up with onsite orientation but will be expected to begin patient care by day 3. Preferred Spanish speaking and EPIC experience.
-Practice Setting: Outpatient ambulatory setting- Community Health Center
-Requirements:
· Board Certification: Required
· License Required: Active WA license required. Will not consider non-licensed candidates
· DEA: Active WA DEA required
· Certs Required: Will be discussed at time of credentialing. If any certs are required, provider will be responsible for obtaining. (BLS, ACLS, etc.)
-Min. Exp Required: MUST have clean background. No malpractice will be considered. MUST have min. of 2 years exp. as an FNP and face to face patient contact within past year.
-Credentialing Timeframe: 2-3 weeks
-All providers will require name clear
-Rate negotiable depending on experience and availability - let's talk!
