Community Health FP/UC NPs Needed in WA!

Job description

- Specialty: Family Practice/Urgent Care in a Community Health Center
* Multiple WA locations available!
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract Length: 3 months with potential to extend
- Shift Details: 9a-6p, 40hrs/week. 8 hour work day with 1 hour unpaid lunch
- Saturday hours optional for OT rate.
- Support Staff: Dedicated medical assistant for each provider, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians, most clinics have an onsite pediatrician and local health care administrator they will submit timecards to.
- Patients per day: Will be scheduled to see up to 18 patients. May be less depending on cancellations, etc, but should be comfortable with higher volume and fast paced.
- Patient Population/Age: Newborns-Geriatrics. Provider should be comfortable working with all ages.
- Department Description: Community Health Center.
*Providers should have experience in these settings or express interest to work with vulnerable populations. They service migrants and refugees and have interpretative services available on site.
* Provider is not required to be bilingual, but would be a plus.
*OP ambulatory services, family medicine, walk-in/acute care services, chronic disease management.
* May be caring for same day walk in patients.
* Special Procedures: Basic bread and butter procedures. Injections, IUD placement, minor wound care.
