Outpatient Endocrinology Locums Opportunity in Seguin, TX

Job description

- Outpatient Endocrinology (MD), private practice
- Start Date: mid-Sept
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (maternity coverage)
- Shift Details: Looking for 2-3 days coverage between Mon - Thurs
- Schedule: 8a-5p

Work Details:
- Support staff: 2 Med Assistants trained in Endo, front office coordinator that knows the practice
- Patients per day: 10-15
- Patient population/age: most patients are 18+, some diagnosis are seen 16+ (thyroid cancer, other thyroid conditions).
- EMR: Athena, experience preferred but not required.
- Skills required: Basic outpatient Endo insulin management, pumps, CPNs, no rounding at all at the facility.

Requirements:
- Board Certification: YES
- State license required: Yes, required, preference is local, may consider travel on a case by case depending on availability
- Credentialing Timeframe: no credentialing at facility, can start in a week.
- Willing To License?: Possibly IMLC, but only considering travel on a case by case basis due to the schedule.
