Emergency Medicine Physician needed in South Boston VA!

Location: South Boston VA
Specialty: Emergency Medicine
Start Date: September 1, 2024 (ASAP but credentialing takes 60-90 days.)
Contract Length: 5+ months
Shift Details: 7a-7p, 7p-7a
Schedule: Monday-Sunday, nights and weekends are needed the most
Work Details:
• Annual Volume: 21,000
• Lowest level of trauma, very few cases per the director, they stabilize and transfer
• EMR: Epic
• No admissions
• Patient population/age: All ages
• EMR: Epic
Requirements:
• Board Certification: ABEM/AOBEM required, alternative boards not accepted
• BLS, ACLS and PALS are all required
• State license required: Virginia
• DEA: Yes
Credentialing time frame: 60-90 days, working to see if temp privs are an option
