Census Per Provider: 23K annual ER volume

Types of Cases Seen Daily? Standard ER. Will see all age ranges from small to serious illness and injury. Complex or high acuity is transferred quickly. They are a level IV unit, handle trauma, stroke, and cardiology services. 15%-20% Pediatric cases

Records – EMR Used? EPIC
The ED is staffed with 2 physicians and 1 APP. One Day (7a-7p), one night (7p-7a), and the APP works 10a-10p. they handle trauma and stroke patients. The hospital has Stroke/Cardiac Care 24/7. They are located on the freeway and can transfer critical patients to Dallas.
