Emergency Physicians Needed in Texarcana, TX

Start: August

Contract length: 6 months

Schedule details: md: mon-wed: 6a-4p, 10a-8p, 12p-10p, 3p-1a, & 8p-6a. Thurs, fri, & sun: 6a-5p, 10a-9p, 3p-2a, & 8p-6a. Sat: 6a-4p, 10a-8p, 3p-1a, & 8p-6a. Nppa: 7a-5p, 9a-7p, 1p-11p, 7p-5a

Work details:

Emr/charting software: epic

Avg. Daily census: 52,00 annual volume. Averaging about 140-150 patients/day

Requirements:

Board certifications req’d/preferred: completion of an acgme or aoa approved postgraduate training program in fm or em. Certification by the applicable medical board. If fm, must be able to demonstrate active practice in an ed setting with a census exceeding 10,000 visits per year within the last 2 years

State license(s): Tx license required (will license IMLC accepted)

Certifications: acls, atls, bls all required for fm. If em boarded, then atls can be expired/you just to show proof of having atls previously

Dea req’d?: yes

Years of experience req’d: abem preferred. If fm, must have 2 years of ed experience

Credentialing timeframe: 60 days
