A facility is seeking an emergency medicine physician for locum tenens coverage.

About the clinician's workday
This position will have 33 shifts a month at a Level 3 trauma center with critical care and fast track services. Shift times include CM: 6 am2 pm, 8 am4 pm, 1 pm9 pm, 3 pm11 pm, 8 pm4 am, 10 pm6 am; BH & RH: 8 am8 pm, 8 pm8 am. The physician coverage is either single or double, with a patient mix of 85% adult and 15% pediatric, handling around 130 patients per day and 8 admissions. The admitting services will write admission orders. The team includes 26 ABEM providers. The physician must be BC with BLS certification and experienced with Cerner EMR.
