EM Physician Needed in KY

Shift Details: 24-hour shifts
Schedule: 10 shifts per month – only day they do not need covered is Thursdays

Work Details:
· Support staff: Hosptialists during the day, mid-levels 10a – 10p
· Amount of coverage needed per month: 10 shifts per month
· Patients per day: avg 30-35
· Patient population/age: all ages
· Department description: Emergency room in small critical access hospital. They are the only hospital in the area.
· EMR: Meditech
· Skills required: will need to supervise 2 midlevels while on shift and be prescriptive authority
· Open to considering an Internal Medicine doc that will see all ages and has EM experience
· Open to two physicians that will each do 12 hour shifts (day and night) to cover a full 24 hours.
Client prefers the provider not take back to back 24 hour shifts - prefer the providers take a day off after a 24 for liability reasons.

Practice Setting:
· Hospital

Requirements:
· Board Certification: FP BC required, EM boards not required
· State license required: KY license
· DEA: required
· Certifications required: PALS, ATLS
· Minimum experience required: 1 year experience

Credentialing Timeframe: 2 weeks if a clean background

Willing To License?: Only if IMLC
