Location: Lagrange and Columbia City, Indiana
Start Date: 1/20
Shifts needed per month: 8-12 minimum
- Flexible Scheduling, 9-15 shifts a month (your preference) and schedules posted a year in advance. Your individualized schedule is created with physician input based on shift availability and your personalized needs.
• Minimum Shifts Required: 6 shifts per month
• Experience Required: Less than 10 years experience to expedite the credentialing process
• Support staff: APPs
- 24-hour hospitalist coverage for admissions
- 24-hour real-time Radiology reading of all studies
- 24-hour in-house X ray and CT with US on call at night
• Patients per day: 30
• Annual Volume: 11,000
• Trauma Level: All locations are level II
• Patient population/age: All ages
• EMR: EPIC
• Skills required: Physician will manage multiple patients both with serious and non-serious illnesses and injuries including heart attacks, stroke, motor vehicle accidents, severe infections, and pneumonia, and perform assessments, diagnostic procedures, and medical treatments as needed to resuscitate or stabilize patients and refer them to the appropriate medical departments.
• Practice Setting: Hospital (will be credentialed at 5 locations – 1 credentialing process)
• Requirements:
• Board Certification: ABEM, ABFM
• State license required: IN
• DEA: Yes
• CSR: Yes
• Certifications required: If EM boarded just need DEA/CSR
Minimum experience required: 5-7 years, will look at new grads for Perm only
