Job description

I have a client in Columbia City, IN who is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician. Here are the job details.

Start: ASAP

3-months with the option to extend

Shifts needed per month: 8-12 minimum

Shift Details:  12-hour shifts

Schedule: Flexible Scheduling, 9-15 shifts a month (your preference) and schedules posted a year in advance. Your individualized schedule is created with physician input based on shift availability and your personalized needs.

Available Shift Times: 6a-6p, 6p-6a OR 7a-7p, 7p-6a

Experience Required: Less than 10 years’ experience to expedite the credentialing process

Work Details:  
• Support staff: APPs
• Patients per day:  30-50 depending on the location
• Trauma Level: All locations are level II
• Patient population/age: All ages
• Department description:  Emergency
• EMR:  EPIC
• Hospital bed size:  Different at each location
• Skills required:  Physician will manage multiple patients both with serious and non-serious illnesses and injuries including heart attacks, stroke, motor vehicle accidents, severe infections, and pneumonia, and perform assessments, diagnostic procedures, and medical treatments as needed to resuscitate or stabilize patients and refer them to the appropriate medical departments.

Practice Setting:  
• Hospital (will be credentialed at 5 locations – 1 credentialing process)

Requirements: 
• Board Certification: Must be BC in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or any other accredited Emergency Medicine Fellowship program.
• State license required: IN
• DEA:  Yes
• CSR:  Yes
• Certifications required:   If EM boarded just need DEA/CSR
• Minimum experience required:  N/A will look at new grads
Credentialing Timeframe:  4 months with a clean application
