Job description

• Coverage: 12 hour shifts (7a-7p,7p-7a) / 24 hours of coverage
• EMR: EPIC
• 25 Bed, Community Hospital
• Owned by PeaceHealth
• 8 bed ED, 6 ICU beds, 8,550 Annual Visits, 15% admission rate, Visa Eligible
• Two bedside US machines in ED
• Glidescope in ED
• CMAC in ED
• Lab turnaround times are 90 minutes
• Level 4 trauma center
• ED Physician and HM Physicians Responds to codes.
• ED often asked to perform procedures
• ABEM/AOBEM Boarded Required (Eligible if right out of residency - otherwise EM boards are required
• Alaska State License
• Alaska State DEA
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS
