PA Emergency Medicine Opportunity in Altoona, PA

Job description

• Length of contract: TBD
• Start date: ASAP
• Support staff: the MD shifts run 3p-1a, 5p-3a and 9p-7a so a physician is always present at night.
• Coverage Type: Provider will also work at UPMC Bedford
• Schedule Details: typically 1-2 patients/hour per provider per shift
Work Details:
• EMR/Charting Software: Cerner
• Patient Age Group: 80% adult, 20% peds
Requirements:
• Board Certifications Req’d/Preferred: required
• State License(s): PA required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPR, PALS. *ACLS, BLS, and PALS - must be through AHA or Red Cross.
• *Stroke Certified
• DEA Req’d?: yes
• Years of Experience Req’d: 2
Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
