Neurocritical Care APP Needed in Toledo, OH

Job description

• Contract Length: 12 weeks - varies , week days and weekend availability ideal, depending on official schedule, days of week will vary
• Shift Details: Willing and able to discuss flexible schedules depending on needs. possibility of 5 days a week. If someone is local and didn't require travel incentive, possibility of 3 or 4 12hr shifts a week

Work Details:
•Support Staff: APP's and Physicians, leadership support - 1 office manager, 1 lead APP, 1 Associate VP
•Department Description: We see variety of stroke and trauma patients, elective spine and brain cases, tumors, consults of back pain/stenosis
•EMR: EPIC - experience required
•Special Procedures: Some experience/ comfortability in reading and interpreting MRI and CT scans beneficial
•Practice Setting: Volume: 20-30 pts daily on average split between 2- 3 APPS
• 5-10 surgeries daily post-op responsibilities: post op, drain removals ( brain, cervical, lumbar, EVD) pain control. Discharging planning. Some medical management, but patients with complex medical problems we generally consult medicine to manage. Evaluate consults throughout the day and staff with on call physician.

Requirements:
• License Required: Active OH license without restrictions
• Credentialing Timeframe: 30-45 days

• Full-time - 7 on 7 off, Days, No nights or call ( 5:30 am - 5:30 pm); Willing to discuss different schedule if needed (ie 3x12s, 5 shifts per week, etc)
• Credentialing Timeframe: 30-45 days
• All hospital/inpatient based, Level 1 Trauma Center
