About the clinician's workday

Candidates must have an active NC license and DEA. The position involves covering weekend night call for cardiology from Friday to Sunday evening. Hours are 5 PM to 7 AM, with flexibility for later starts based on commute. The role requires comfort with Cardiac ICU admissions and management, including STEMI, unstable VT/VF, and cardiogenic shock, with support from the Interventional, EP, and Heart Failure teams. Board certification with ECG and ECHO reading skills is required. An APP will be available to assist during the shift, and the practice uses Cerner EMR.
