The practice setting involves inpatient, outpatient, and call duties, with coverage needed due to the growth of clinical services and provider departures starting from July 1st until permanent hires are made. The call schedule is Q7, and the locum physician will handle 12-14 clinic patients per day and perform 5-10 consults per day without direct admissions, as hospitalists manage those. Other cardiologists will be present, and the locum physician will supervise APPs during rounding, stress tests, and cardiac rehab as needed. The patient demographic is adult. Board Certification or Eligibility through ABMS and ACLS certification are required, a Minnesota license is preferred, and local candidates are highly preferred. Verbal confirmation of DEA is required at name clearance.
