Cardiology APP Needed in WV

Job description

An APP with 2 years of Cardiology experience needed in Charleston, WV.

Specialty: APP cardiology (telemetry floors
Start Date: 09/01/24 (90 day credentialing)
Contract Length: 3-6 months
Shift Details: week days and call 1 weekend a month
Call: one weekend- not carrying a pager (coming into round on follow ups-8 hours each day)
Schedule: 7a-4p

Work Details:
Support staff: other mid levels and cardiologists
Amount of coverage needed per month: full time (3 providers)
Patients per day: 40 patients split between mid-levels (mid levels don’t see more than 18 patients)
Patient population/age: 18 and up
Department description: cardiology service on telemetry floor with 2 other mid levels and physicians
EMR: Cerner
Special procedures: must be able to do telemetry which is a tool that allows continuous ECG, RR, SpO2 monitoring while the patient remains active without the restriction of being attached to a bedside cardiac monitor – used to track heart rythens. telemetry is a relatively general form of monitoring; EKG technicians perform a more specific type of monitoring.

Practice Setting:Hospital

Board Certification: certitifed NP or PA
License required: WV
DEA – Yes
CSR – Yes
Minimum experience required: 2 years experience in cardiology

Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
