Cardiovascular APP Needed in TN

Location: Cookeville, TN

Cardiovascular Open-Heart Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Start Date: July

Contract Length: ongoing

Shift Details: Monday - Friday
Schedule: 6a – 4pm

Work Details:
· Support staff: 2 Cardiovascular surgeons and Cardio Thoracic surgeons
· Amount of coverage needed per month: Full-time
· Department description: Cardio Vascular Department in the hospital. Will not need to help at the outpatient center
· Hospital bed size: 247 beds
· Special procedures: Cardiac, vascular and thoracis cases, CABG, TAVR, AAA, AVR and MVR
· Skills required: Must be proficient with 1st assist duties and endovascular vein harvest (instrumentation Maquet Hemopro 2). Proficient with rounding and consultations (in-patient).

Practice Setting:
· Hospital

Requirements:
· Board Certification: required
· State license required: TN license required
· DEA: required
· Certifications required: BLS, ACLS
