Job Title: RN Medical/Surgical
Department: Cardiovascular Unit
Duration: 3 Months with possible extension
Shift Timings: 19:00 - 07:30 Hours (Night Shift)
Monday - Friday 3 days 12 hours shift
Per Week: 36 Hours
Location: Wichita, KS, 67214

Job Description:
Medical/Surgical Neurovascular/Renal Unit, 38 beds, No drip titrations. Lab collects blood specimens. RNs start IVs but IV team available for additional support. No performing EKGs or discontinuing sheaths. Telemetry with remote monitoring. Ceil Blue scrubs, Cerner One Chart. Teaching hospital. May float between 3 hospitals and 1 rehabilitation hospital. Teaching hospital

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
