About the clinician's workday
The position starts at 7 AM and typically ends around 4 PM, with some days running late, resulting in overtime. The case mix includes cardiac, urology, and orthopedic procedures, with responsibilities alternating between performing cases independently and supervising CRNAs. Providers are credentialed at both sites and rotate evenly between the two locations. Pediatric cases are not required for locums, and anesthesia records are maintained through paper charting. The credentialing process takes approximately 60 days, though it may be completed sooner.
