Position Details:
We're seeking dedicated anesthesiologists for both general and cardiac roles in beautiful Asheville, NC. Join a dynamic team in a hospital setting with a commitment to high-quality patient care.
Positions Available:
• General Anesthesiologists:
o Start Date: ASAP
o Shifts: Choose from 8, 10, or 12 hours
o Call: Optional in-house call, nights, and weekends available

• Cardiac Anesthesiologist: 1 position
o Requirements: TEE Certification required
o Start Date: ASAP
o Shifts: 8 to 10-hour shifts
o Call: No call, no weekends
Assignment Details:
o General ANES:
• Duration: 6 months with option to extend
• Case Mix: Includes OB, trauma, stroke center cases, vascular, neuro, urology, ortho
• Support Ratio: 1 MD to 3 CRNAs or 1 MD to 4 CRNAs
• Focused care team model, primarily supervisory role but Independent cases are possible if preferred.
o
o CV ANES: Focused care team model, primarily supervisory role but Independent cases are possible if preferred.
o Average Number of CV cases per day: 10-15
Requirements:
• Must hold an active North Carolina medical license
•
• TEE certification for cardiac anesthesiologist applicants
Compensation & Benefits:
• General Anesthesiologist Hourly Rate: $350 + Travel & Lodging (T & L)

• Cardiac Anesthesiologist Hourly Rate: $450 + Travel & Lodging (T & L)
•
• Travel and lodging provided
• Medical malpractice insurance included
Credentialing/Privileging:
• Fast-track credentialing within two weeks
• Temporary privileges available
