About the clinician's workday
The position offers working hours from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a call schedule that includes weeknight coverage at 1 in 3 and every third weekend. On weekends, the call is 24 hours on both Saturday and Sunday. During the weekdays (Monday to Friday), the MD/DO on call is supported by a CRNA. The facility has 4 operating rooms, including one dedicated to OB cases. The caseload includes about 15 cases per day for inpatient services, spread across 3 to 4 rooms, with weeknight call backs averaging 1 and weekend call backs averaging 2.
