Experienced Anesthesiologist Needed in Tucson for locum coverage starting in November

13 Weeks, with the option to extend

5x10 hour shifts, 0700 – 1700, Call Schedule TBD

Work Details:
· Support staff: 20 RNs, 4 Office Staff
· Patients per shift: 25
· Patient population/age: Adult
· Department description: Anesthesiology
· EMR: Cerner
· Skills required: General Anesthesia, Spinal Anesthesia, Epidural Anesthesia, Regional Anesthesia Surgery, Neurosurgical cases (Spine), Complex vascular cases (except open heart), Complex orthopedic cases, Pain management techniques, Post-op epidural, Post-op extremity blocks, Ventilation management, Evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues, Central Line placement, Arterial Line placement, PA Catheter placement, CRNA supervision

Practice Setting:
• Inpatient

Requirements:
· Board Certification: Yes, Anesthesiology (will accept Board Eligible)
· License required: Yes, State of AZ
· Certifications required: BLS & ACLS

Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
