CRNA Locum Needed in Virginia!

Contract Length: 3 months, with options to extend

Shift Details:
• Schedule:
o 4x10-hour shifts OR
o 3x12–13-hour shifts per week
o Includes 1 rotating Saturday each month
o No call required

Work Details:
• Locations:
o Main OR
o Outpatient Surgery Center
o Endoscopy Center
o Option to practice at any location
• Patient Population: Ages 13 through end of life
• Department Description:
o Level 1 Trauma Center
o Staff: 60 CRNAs, ~70 Attending Anesthesiologists, and ~60 Anesthesia Residents
o Coverage:
 33 ORs in Main OR
 16 offsite anesthesia locations
 12 outpatient surgery ORs
 3-4 standalone GI center rooms

• EMR: Epic

• Hospital Bed Size: 600

• Skills Required:
o Main OR:
 Ability to perform spinals (preferred)
 Ability to place and manage arterial lines
 Comfortable titrating vasoactive medication infusions (e.g., norepinephrine, phenylephrine, nicardipine)
o Exclusions: No open heart/thoracic cases, pediatrics, obstetrics, or peripheral nerve blocks

• Hospital

Requirements:
• Vaccines: COVID-19 vaccines required (no exemptions)
• Board Certification: Required
• Experience:
o Minimum 2 years required
o Experience working with ASA 3+ patients strongly desired

Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days
