Opportunity: CRNA turnover rate is very low General structure of the team: 1/CRNA care model 100% supervised Shift times are variable with potential for call. A guarantee of the 40 hours/week. Provider chooses their "normal" schedule from the options below. 8-hour shifts really don't help them, so they are not interested in these as a regular option. Higher rate is paid over 40 hours per week and is easy to reach. At least one 24-hour shift per month must be on a Saturday or Sunday. Shift choices: - 1 required 24-hour shift + 1 additional 24-hour shift (48 hours/week) - 1 required 24-hour shift + 1 16-hour shift (40 hours/week) - 1 required 24-hour shift + 2 12-hour shifts (48 hours/week) Patient age demographic: pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric Spinals and epidurals can be done by CRNAs, all nerve blocks are done by 1s. We have fellowship-trained 1s for this. Preops are for the most part done by the 1s unless it’s a MAC case where the CRNAs can do it. Trauma level II 10 ORs Coverage for Procedural Care Units. 2 providers would need general OR experience (no neuro or cardiac experience required) and one provider would preferably have outpatient endoscopy experience with MAC. Average 4-5 cases a day when working a 12 hour (primarily Ortho and Neuro Cases) Neuro cases: the OR team is comprised of surgeon, Surgical Assistant, Scrub Tech, and OR RN circulator. Ortho cases utilize 2 surgical assistants, depending on the type of case.
