4 CRNAs Needed in KY (will license)

Job description

I have a client in Lexington, KY seeking 4 experienced CRNAs for locum coverage starting in September/October. Here are some details.

26 week assignment

SCHEDULE DETAILS:
Full-Time; 0630AM – 0530PM (1/2-hour lunch) (No Weekends, No Call; M – T or T – F)

Work Details:
• Support staff: CRNA, Anesthesia Tech, Anesthesiologists. Will be directed by Anesthesiologist (General ratio 1:2 anesthesiologists to 1 CRNA and 1 resident, can be up to 1:4 anesthesiologists to CRNA for low acuity)

• Patient population/age: All age spans (no Neonatal); Critically ill/ “Super Sick” patients; a lot of transfer patients from other hospitals in the areas

• Department description: CRNA would cover the following: S.T.A.R. Unit (SURGICAL TRIAGE ASSESSMENT AND RECOVERY (Go Live: 07/08/2024)), CVICU, Acute Pain, Ortho, Trauma, Vascular, Neuro (No Heart, No OBGYN)

• EMR: EPIC preferred

• Skills required: Intubation, Central Line, Arterial line, Line Placement. Not likely needed to do blocks. No OB. **CRNA must stay in room with any patient that is asleep, CRNA cannot leave a patient asleep unattended in room**

Practice Setting:
• Hospital (Level 1 Trauma Center)

Requirements:
• Board Certification: NBCRNA

• State license required: Yes, State of KY – open to licensing

• Minimum experience required: Some experience (6 months to a year; NO NEW GRAD)

Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
