A facility is seeking an anatomic/clinical pathologist for locum tenens coverage.

About the clinician's workday
The clinician must be board-certified and hold an active NJ license to apply. There will be all types of surgical pathology cases including cancer resections (most common specimen types include GI, breast, prostate, and GYN) and preferably cytology. Grossing is required but only when the PA is on vacation and occasionally when it is very busy. Frozen sections are required.
Additional job details
- Case load/PPD: Approximately 30 slides per day
- Support staff: 1 PA, 5 histotechs, 3 office staff
- Patient population: Adults
- Call ratio/schedule: 1-2 weekdays per week + 1 weekend per month
- Location type: On-Site
